Plans and credits
How Vetoo's per-seat plans and credits work, the tiers, and the billing actions you can take.
Vetoo bills per seat and meters usage in credits. Every seat on your plan adds a monthly credit allowance to one shared balance. Reviews spend from that balance. If your team spends the balance before the period ends, buy more credits.
Tiers
| Tier | Seats | Included credits |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Up to 3 | None |
| Hobby | Per seat | Per seat, each month |
| Team | 6 to 25 (billed minimum 6) | Per seat, each month |
| Enterprise | 25 or more, or custom | Custom |
On Hobby and Team, each seat adds the same amount to the bill and the same allowance to the balance. A team of ten on Team therefore has ten times one seat's allowance.
Team has a billed minimum of six seats. A team of four pays for six seats and receives six seats' credits. Above six, you pay for the seats you use, up to 25. For more seats, or for custom terms, request an Enterprise quote from the pricing page or from Billing.
Free includes no credits, so you buy credits to run reviews. Free credits cost more per credit than paid credits. If you buy credits often, a paid plan costs you less.
Choose a tier during onboarding. You can change the tier later from Billing.
Seats
A seat is a billable member of the workspace. A viewer is free. A viewer uses no seat and does not count against the tier's seat limit. You can therefore give read-only access to as many people as you need. Owners, admins, and members each use a seat.
A member you add mid-period bills a full period for that seat, not a prorated amount. The seat grants its credits at once. On an annual plan, the charge covers the full months left in the term, at one twelfth of the annual seat price each.
Vetoo does not refund, prorate, or reverse the removal of a member. You keep the seat and its credits until the period you paid for ends, and the lower seat count bills from your next renewal. Neither change takes the bill below the plan's billed minimum.
Credits
Credits are the unit of usage. A review spends from the balance what the review costs to run, so the amount varies from review to review. Vetoo grants each seat's allowance at the start of the period. Reviews then draw the balance down. The app shows the balance and the period end throughout.
How much a review costs
A review's cost depends first on its review effort level. The five levels range from about 100 credits at LOW to about 1,500 credits at ULTRA. Each figure is approximate, because a review debits what the model work actually cost. Within one level, the cost depends on the size and complexity of the change. A large change costs more than a small one.
How many reviews an allowance buys follows from those two numbers: divide one seat's monthly credit allowance by the cost of your level. The app does this for you. When you choose a plan during onboarding, each paid tier shows the review count at the default MEDIUM level. A second number shows the count at LOW. Both numbers are a guide, because your own count depends on the level you choose and the changes you submit. The pricing page shows the per-seat credit allowance itself.
Included credits roll over. An allowance you do not spend this period carries into the next period.
Credits you buy expire twelve months later. A large pack locks in a rate, but a pack you leave unused for a year expires.
To add a buffer before a busy period, buy credits on top of the plan. Choose a preset pack or a custom amount. Credits you buy stack on the included allowance.
When the balance falls
Vetoo emails a warning each time the balance falls past 1,000, 500, 250, and 100 credits. If one review crosses more than one of these figures, Vetoo sends one email for each figure. Two figures also change what Vetoo does.
- Below 1,000 credits, the app shows a red banner on every page. Reviews still run.
- Below your level's start figure, Vetoo does not start a review at that level. The start figure is 250 credits on the default
MEDIUMlevel. Below 100 credits, no level can start a review. A review already in progress finishes, and Vetoo waits for the balance to rise before it starts another.
Buy credits by hand, or enable auto top-up from Billing. Choose a threshold. Then choose a pack. Vetoo buys that pack on your saved card each time the balance falls below the threshold. Auto top-up stays off until you configure it.
Annual billing
Switch to annual payments and get two months free. The credit allowance does not change. An annual plan still grants each seat its full monthly allowance every month, not one lump sum.
An annual term is a commitment. A switch back to monthly takes effect at the end of the term, with no refund and no early exit. The Billing page shows the annual rate, the monthly equivalent, and the effective date before you confirm.
Change your plan
- Upgrade or downgrade. Move between tiers from Billing. Vetoo shows the prorated charge at your current seat count before you confirm. Vetoo blocks a downgrade while you hold more seats than the target tier allows.
- Switch interval. Change between monthly and annual. The change aligns with your billing period.
- Buy credits. Buy on any tier, at any time, on top of the plan.
