A review is not a one-way report. You can reply to a review and get an answer.
Ask @vetoo-review
Reply to any finding, or open a new comment, and mention @vetoo-review. Vetoo answers in the same thread. The answer addresses your change, not a general case. Vetoo answers only when you mention it.
Use a reply to:
- When the reason is not clear, ask why Vetoo raised a finding.
- When a finding names a problem and you want the change itself, ask for the fix.
- Push back. Tell Vetoo a finding is wrong, and Vetoo defends the finding or withdraws it.
Vetoo declines a question that does not concern the review. It also declines a mention from a viewer, and a mention made when the balance is below 100 credits.
When a developer replies to settle a finding, the next review treats that thread as resolved. A finding you already handled therefore does not reappear, even though the thread is still open.
Start another review
To review new commits, comment @vetoo-review review this. Vetoo runs another pass over the current change. Use this after you fix the first round of findings, so the verdict matches your latest commits.
A reply in a thread settles one comment. A downvote calibrates the whole repository. If a finding keeps missing the point for your codebase, vote it down. Vetoo then does not raise it again. See Team memory.
